The artwork and programming were amazing and well-suited the situation. Although there are some effect that I would like it to be shorter since it made the scene kinda been drag out.
I just wish the storytelling was given more depth, such as more background on Fuyu (my guess is that he is written based on Yuki-onna forklore, you can let Haru been warned about it, but ended up didn't suspect anything since this Yuki-onna is a male and not a female, this is only my suggestion since it is kinda weird when he did not know anything regarding himself at the end either lol), more choices and dialogue branches, and it would be more fun if he was a little evil haha (leave her to dead if she left, ask something exchange for the flower), but consider it was only made for the VN Jam, it can't be help.
After all, I enjoy playing this, it has potential. If your team ever considers to make it to a full version, I shall looking forward to it and give you all support I can. :)
Thank you for making such a lovely game! Winter Flower is a game that you can play in about 1 hour more or less depending on reading speed about a folklore like story with wonderful voice acting, animation between scenes, soothing music and straightforward story. On the other hand, perhaps because of the details on the animation, it left the skipping a bit wonky when I tried, but that's just a minor setback for anyone who wanted to use that feature.
Everyone did great in their voice acting, but I have to say I love Fuyu's voice very much, haha. The ending song was wonderful, the traditional Japanese music suits the atmosphere and matched my taste and I'm glad to get the ending where everyone was happy. I wonder what how their daily lives would be after that.
Due to the fact I recorded this before the updated version, so there's no updated art, but I'll check it out in the background.
Had so much finally being able to play through this! The artwork was stunning, the writing was beautiful, programming looked amazing, and the VAs did wonderfully! I also can't stop thinking of the ending song from the good end. Thank you for making this story!!

Since it was made for a jam, we couldn't fully expand on the story/features as much as we possibly could have, unfortunately.
I think others would like to see Fuyu a little more 'evil' as well!
